Pleading the Fifth is a band from Moon Township, Pennsylvania that plays what they describe as a blend of classic rock sounds and modern alternative rock. They are currently all college-aged students who are working on writing and recording original music while also playing high-quality covers of popular songs.
The band formed on November 1st, 2015 when Noah Moser, the drummer, put out a call for other musicians to play in Moon Area High School's annual talent show, known as "Collage." Steve Kotok, Alex Pelkington, and Wade Slide all responded, offering to play guitar, guitar, and bass respectively. Adi Dzehverovic was called in as a temporary vocalist, and when he was added as a full member the band was formed as Pleading the Fifth.
The rhythm section had been clicking long before the creation of the band, as Wade and Noah had played bass and drums together in various other smaller projects such as church bands and one-off collaborations. On the other side of Moon, Steve and Alex had been jamming for a few years in a three piece band with Steve playing bass and a friend named Ben Worst on drums. Adi had lived up the street from Steve since elementary school, and the band knew that he would have the right vocal style for music that they were playing.
The band has big plans going into 2019 and is planning on finishing an EP by the end of summer of '19.
